Ignas Vėgėlė is an advocate and has been working as a lawyer for more than 10 years. He is an associate professor at Mykolas Romeris University, lecturing courses on EC company law, EC substantial law and others.

In May 2002 Ignas Vėgėlė defended PhD thesis "Law Applicable to Enterprises and Primary Establishment in the European Community Law” in the Law University of Lithuania. During the academic year 2001-2002, Ignas Vėgėlė studied EU law and EU company law in Oxford University. Before that he was granted a Master degree in Law from Vilnius University. He is the member of the Lithuanian Bar since 2002.
His responsibilities include managing legal due diligence, legal activities and representations. He speaks Lithuanian, English and Russian.
